Community Futures provides financing, business development and community development services in Port Alberni, Bamfield, Tofino, and Ucluelet. We are a non-profit society making local decisions at a grassroots level. We are the only business development program mandated by the federal government to serve rural and remote businesses in B.C.

Alberni Valley Food Security Society has partnered with The Alberni District Fall Fair, Dock+, and Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District to update a local Farmstand Guide. We encourage residents and visitors to explore the homegrown food thar our community has to offer by visiting these vendors at their farm stands and markets.
The Farm–Fish–Forage Directory is your go-to guide to the farmers, fishers, and foragers who feed our community. Created for both residents and visitors, this directory brings together the Valley’s primary producers of fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, seafood, wild foods, and more – making it easy to find and support what’s grown, caught, and gathered close to home. The directory will not include retailers, shops or other businesses involved in subsequent steps in the food system.
